1. Consultation on FDI Coprporation Set-up in S.Korea
(1) Preliminary Consultation to confirm the following considerations:
1) Determine the eligibility of sectors for foreign investment within Korea (if restricted, verify permissible ownership percentages);
2) Confirm the permissibility of investment based on specific domestic laws (e.g., Broadcasting and Telecommunications Act).
3) Verify whether domestic investments are permitted in the investor's home country (e.g., China);
4) Decide on leasing or acquiring a business location;
5) Determine whether the investment requires foreign investment reporting (e.g., necessary for individuals
exceeding KRW 100 million or holding over 10% ownership);
6) Decide on the investing entity (individual or corporation);
7) Determine the nationality of the representative director and prepare relevant documents accordingly
(requirements may vary by country)
8) Initiate funds transfer from the investor's home country (after receiving the investment registration certificate).
(2) Main Procedures:
1) Determine company name;
2) Form the structure of executives (Promoters and Subscribers);
3) Confirm business objectives;
4) Assist corporate establishment registration - legal counsel, registration office;
5) Apply for business registration after corporate establishment - tax office;
6) Support opening corporate financial accounts - banks;
7) Assist issuance of certificate of foreign-invested company registration - Foreign Exchange Bank, etc.
2. Consulting service fees for the establishment of FDI Corporation in Korea
(1) Basic consulting fee : KRW 2 million ( VAT not included )
The scope of services includes both preliminary consultation and main procedures, with a capital of up to KRW 1 billion.
(2) If bookkeeping advisory tasks are delegated to Selim, a 50% discount on the basic consulting fee will be applied.
When bookkeeping tasks are deleaged after estalishing an FDI corporation in Korea, a 50% discount on
the basic consulting fee for the branch/liaison office set-up will be applied. (KRW 500,000)
3. FDI Corporation establishment registry fees
- When establishing a corporation in South Korea, the registration costs differ based on whether it's established
within the metropolitan area and dense urban zones or in other regions. The breakdown is as follows:
